Nissan Thomas, Esq. is the Sr. Vice President of Legal Affairs, General Counsel, and Board Secretary for Splassher, Inc.  Nissan brings a well-rounded and diverse experience in legal affairs to Splassher as a Los Angeles based attorney who specializes in entertainment and Intellectual Property (IP) matters, concerning all facets of entertainment negotiations and transactions ranging in the areas of music, film, theatre & television, trademarks, and IP protection. Furthermore, his experience includes ten (10) years of employment with CBS Television Studios in the Legal & Business Affairs department, specifically licensing of music for CBS owned product.
Mr. Thomas has a robust client roster consisting of music composers, music producers, artists, motion picture and television production companies, writers,

directors, and producers. Additionally, he has experience consulting with digital start-ups with regard to licensing music for streaming platforms. Mr. Thomas’ practice also includes civil matters, such as defending of indigent tenants in unlawful detainers, wills, trusts and probate litigation, estate planning, along with DUIs, real estate transactions, and corporate formation.

When Nissan is not immersed in legal matters, he can be found spending free time with his family, watching sports, cooking, and working out.
